Our Euro Voice season continues as we hear from Johan in Holland. Special congratulations to Johan who married the lovely Hannah a few weeks ago.

The World Cup is now behind us and we'll have to wait another 4 years to see if we Dutch can go one better and actually win it! It was great to see our small country do so well in the competition  and a great pity that we lost in the final.

Holland is a small country and sadly we lead the world in many negative practices. Our country takes liberalism and pushes it to extreme levels. It feels like just about anything is possible in our country: abortion, prostitution, open drug abuse and euthanasia. And all that is breaking our land. Today there are only a small percentage of the population that would call themselves Christian.

The prayer movement in my country is growing and we are learning from different international movements. In the last few years a lot of Prayer Rooms were started. Some ran for weeks others months and many people are involved. People who believe that God is the answer for our nation.

As a movement we help people to set prayer high on the agenda. And we pray a lot! I’m involved in setting up the European House of Prayer in the Netherlands.

Prayer Requests.

• That people and churches set prayer high on the agenda
• Pray that the Netherlands would play a key role in challenging and sending out young people to take the gospel to every nation.
• Please pray that whoever forms the next government will pass more Godly laws on abortion, prostitution, drug legislation, and euthanasia.
• Please pray for the houses of prayer in the Netherlands, that they may be filled with people filled with passion.
• Please pray for the church and the growth of the Kingdom of God, that the world may be reache
