'HOME' Program Released

Join us from the 12th – 14th September in Southampton England as we explore Isaiah 56:7 and Jesus’ challenge to His church.  We’ll be meeting from Friday evening through to Sunday evening in a mixture of meetings to enjoy, be equipped and explore our theme.

Speakers include:

Pete Greig, one of the founders of the movement, the director of prayer for Holy Trinity Brompton and Alpha, and author of Red Moon Rising, The Vision and The Vow and God on Mute.

 

Jon Petersen, a respected leader around much of the U.S. and Europe with great experience in leadership, Church planting and citywide prayer and unity.  

 

Adam Cox, a gifted Bible teacher and leader of the Kansas City Boiler Room, a vibrant and growing modern day monastic community that lives out rhythms prayer, mission and mercy.

FRIDAY 12TH

“My House…” Home is where the Father is.

Registration for the gathering starts at 6pm

20:00 – 22:00 ENJOY
With worship by we’ll be kicking off our weekend together with prayer and praise.  Pete Greig will be exploring why Jesus cleared the temple and why Isaiah 56:7 is a challenge not only for the Jews of his day but his church now.

SATURDAY 13TH 

“…A House of Prayer…” Home is where we are.

A Morning Prayer session to focus us on the day.

10:00 – 11:25 EQUIP
Adam Cox from the Kansas City Boiler Room will be exploring how God dwelt with His people throughout the Old Testament.  What does it mean to live with His presence?

12:00 – 13:00 EQUIP
Billy Kennedy, leader of New Community Church and member of the 24-7 International Leadership Team, explores the presence of God in the New Testament and how the Holy Spirit affects our lifestyles, relationships and communities.

13:00 – 15:00 Picnic lunch at the park (English weather allowing!)

15:00 – 17:00 EXPLORE sessions A & B
Each day we will have two opportunities to look at how Isaiah 56:7 affects our lives.  There will be four seminar streams running throughout the weekend exploring: Prayer, Mission Mobilisation, Radical Relationships and Leadership.  24-7 activists and special guests will host four sessions each for you to dip in and out of throughout the weekend.

20:00 – 22:00 ENJOY
We’re deliberately making space to worship, pray and listen to God together.  We don’t know where this session might go, we don’t have a plan.  We want to gather, make space for the prophetic and see what God says.

Carla Harding champions prayer in the International 24-7 movement.  Hailing from Chichester, England her life was hijacked by God in 1999 during a two hour stint in the first ever 24-7 Prayer Room.   Carla is very happily married to Stephen and loves worshipping, blogging, films, books, friends, food, live music and international adventures.
